Hello friends, my name is Stephaniee, a proud Latina Houstonian and mama of three who founded Wonder Woods Kids. In 2022, I joined forces with an incredible community of local moms who, like me, saw a need for more enriching, outdoor-based experiences for children in Houston. We noticed a gap—especially in the homeschool community—for consistent, meaningful nature programming, but also recognized that kids in traditional school systems deserved the same kind of magical, nature-rooted learning too. Together, we founded Wonder Woods Kids—Houston’s first nature school—born from a belief that children learn best when they’re free to explore, play, and connect with the earth. Since then, we’ve restructured and evolved WWK to be more inclusive, accessible, and aligned with our mission: to ensure all children, regardless of their educational background, have the opportunity to experience the wonder of outdoor learning. We are deeply committed to reconnecting kids with their roots, swapping screen time for green time, and raising a generation that values curiosity, community, and care for the earth.
